IMPACT GRID WELCOMES YOU

Building Sustainable Futures Through Media Literacy, Critical Thinking, and Civic Participation

Home: Welcome

Impact Grid e.V. is a non-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening media literacy, sustainability competencies, and civic engagement across Europe. Founded in 2012 (previously operating as Net Impact e.V.), the organisation works with young people, educators, and civil society actors through EU-funded and international projects.

Impact Grid designs and delivers formal and non-formal education initiatives that promote critical thinking, digital resilience, and responsible participation in contemporary information environments.

The organisation’s activities address key challenges related to misinformation, disinformation, and digital participation, while fostering inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and active citizenship. Impact Grid’s work aligns with European priorities under Erasmus+, the Digital Services Act, EDMO, Digital Europe, Creative Europe, and Horizon Europe, contributing to democratic resilience, skills development, and cross-sector collaboration through evidence-based and impact-oriented methodologies.

DIGITAL, MEDIA AND INFORMATION LITERACY (MIL)

Through EU-funded and international projects, we design and deliver media and information literacy (MIL) initiatives that strengthen critical thinking, digital resilience, and informed participation, particularly in the context of online platforms, algorithmic environments, and contemporary information ecosystems.

TRANSFERRING KNOWLEDGE & GOOD PRACTICES

We strive to decentralize and distribute knowledge and expertise across sectors and borders. By engaging in interregional partnerships, we facilitate the exchange of knowledge and best practices.

CONNECTING MINDS

Throughout all our activities, we connect like-minded individuals—teachers, trainers, students, self-learners, professionals, and policymakers. By embracing an interdisciplinary approach, we foster synergies that lead to sustainable solutions for the complex challenges we face today.

EMPOWERING YOUTH

Most of our projects are tailored to engage youth organizations, youth workers, and young individuals. We believe they play a crucial role in building a sustainable future. Our primary objective is to enhance their understanding, expertise, and competencies in sustainability-related subjects.

INFLUENCING POLICY

We aim to influence policymakers to mainstream globally set goals and principles for a sustainable future. Our advocacy efforts focus on integrating sustainability into policy frameworks.

SCALING IDEAS AND SOLUTIONS

We identify innovative solutions and help them spread. Through our networking activities, we bring together bright minds to work on scalable ideas and solutions, amplifying their impact.

Unmasking Disinformation Workshop
11.07.2025, Berlin

Opening Social Media apps is easier than opening our minds. Scrolling fast is easier than slowing down. Believing disinformation is easier than stopping to think. That's exactly what we intended to do during our Workshop on Unmasking Disinformation on 11th July at Steinbeis House, to stop and make ourselves think.

Organized as part of Unfake Social Media (an EU funded Erasmus+ project), the workshop, was not a one-way discourse. The engaged audience played interactive games, created, shared and learnt. A session that was intended as a forum to share our project results, ended up with the realization that this topic could be a lot more.
